On the streets of Chiprana you can admire several painted walls and some sculptures as it was an open air museum. Its houses are terraced over a hill crowned by the “San Juan Bautista “Church, the most important jewel of a gothic architecture. Other interesting monuments you can visit, are The Roman Mausoleum (2nd Century), integrated in the known Chapel of Consolation. Near the village there is a defense tower, called “El Mocatero” which was built in the 19th Century and was used by the Carlist Troops
